Description Our OUT OF AFRICA BBQ STEAKHOUSE restaurant/café concept is expanding quickly through company-operated and franchised units in both the SA and international markets. Our future is to accelerate development of both company and franchise locations, and we are looking for qualified franchise partners who are excited about OUT OF AFRICA and our fast growing market segment. When it comes to steak, OUT OF AFRICA serves only the finest cuts. First, they are aged for tenderness. Then a very special blend of seasonings is added to lend unique flavor, while still allowing the natural properties of the high quality, well aged meat to be enjoyed to the fullest. Only after all this preparation is a OUT OF AFRICA steak ready to be grilled to perfection. This insures that a tender, succulent, flavorful steak is guaranteed off the grill every time. In the SA, we currently have 61 franchisees who primarily operate multiple units. Outside the SA, we presently operate through exclusive franchises in the , Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong and we recently signed territorial commitments in Philippines and the Middle East. Franchised restaurants now total 61 in the SA and 44 in International markets. Our highly successful restaurants are situated in a variety of trade channels which include: city-center office buildings, major and strip malls, life style centers, airports, hotels, hospitals, universities, and suburban locations. This flexibility has given us a powerful competitive advantage in the bbq restaurant segment of our industry. In order to be considered for an OUT OF AFRICA BBQ Steakhouse franchise, you must have the financial and management resources necessary to develop multiple or singular restaurants quickly. We require that you have $350,000 in pre-financing cash available to invest in each location. Aside from financial resources, our ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully operating multiple retail/foodservice outlets in the proposed area, an established management infrastructure, and access to quality sites. Many of our successful franchisees currently run multiple branded restaurants or quick service outlets and they are looking for a way to leverage their business with a non-competitive brand.
